St. Augustine Prayer Card

This prayer card honors Saint Augustine, a brilliant theologian and passionate seeker of truth, whose conversion and writings continue to inspire Christians around the world. May his journey from restless searching to deep faith encourage us to seek God with all our heart.
🕊 About St. Augustine
Saint Augustine of Hippo (354–430) was born in North Africa and spent much of his early life searching for meaning through philosophy and worldly pursuits. Through the persistent prayers of his mother, Saint Monica, and the guidance of Saint Ambrose, he converted to Christianity.
He later became Bishop of Hippo and one of the greatest theologians in Church history. His works, especially Confessions and The City of God, remain spiritual classics. Augustine is known for his profound reflections on grace, conversion, and the human heart’s longing for God.
🙏 Prayer to St. Augustine
Beloved Saint Augustine, you were at first wholly human-centered and attached to false teachings. Through your mother's fervent prayers and God's grace, you were converted and became God-centered, God-loving, and God-preaching.
We pray that our Lord will renew in us the spirit which inspired you. Filled by this spirit, may we thirst after the Lord as the true Source of Wisdom.
Amen.
